Antonius Driessens also proposes bark photography in this series of photos of bark. Photographed by the artist these pictures of bark are presented in squares, ready to be mixed, combined, collected etc. You can also find a little bark photo game here.
This mosaic of natural complex patterns has some link with Antonius Driessens' wooden wall sculptures, both offering this contrast in simplicity of surface and complexity in detail in the same material. Special attention has been payed to the natural look of the bark: no human trace is accepted (forced directions, cuts) and the the roundness of the trunk is hidden as much as possible to obtain a more flat surface.

Not all tree species are presented as Antonius Driessens searches for specific looks that have a link with his sculptures. Note however that this bark collection will grow over time and new interesting textures will be added regularly.
